The workshop will be divided into 3 sections.
1. Awareness of the whole body when singing - Geórgia Dias
2. Insight into how the use of the body and breathing affects the singing voice - Clare Foster
3. Ideas to enrich the interpretation of Jazz and Latin repertoire - Clare and Geórgia
Clare Foster, is a professional singer and teacher of Jazz (over 30 years). Post Dip GSM, City and Guilds Teacher Training 7407, Teacher Training Mindfulness, Bangor University.
Clare works with her students to infuse Mindfulness into her vocal teaching, encouraging them to work with their own individual voice to develop their unique sound.
Geórgia Dias, professional singer and teacher of Alexander Technique (over 20 years), therapist
specialising in breathing and relaxation techniques.
Geórgia works with a combination of voice and the Alexander Technique, exploring the healthy support of the singing instrument and how to control it in a constructive manner.
